Privacy Policy
Information provided pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of the GDPR UE 2016/679
This privacy statement describes how DDpluspet collects, uses and shares information when the customer purchases an item at this store, when he contacts DDpluspet.
This privacy policy does not apply to the practices of third parties who are not dependent on DDpluspet and which it does not control, including Etsy or third party services accessed by Etsy. For more information on Etsy's privacy practices, the customer can consult the Etsy Privacy Statement.
1. The personal information that DDpluspet collects
The information that DDpluspet collects, are closely related to the purchase of the product, shipping and payment of the sale, to resolve disputes or to provide customer support.
Specifically to complete the order, the customer must provide some information to DDpluspet, such as its name, email address, postal address, payment details and details of the product that he ordered.
This information is also necessary for compliance with legal obligations, or a court order, or in connection with a legal action, such as storing information about the purchase if required by tax law; and if necessary for the legitimate interest of DDpluspet, provided that the customer's rights or interests do not prevail, such as:
1) Provide and improve services.
DDpluspet uses the information to provide the services requested by the client and in its legitimate interest, to improve its services;
2. Sharing and dissemination of information
DDpluspet will share the customer's personal information only for limited reasons and circumstances, as follows:
Service providers. DDpluspet uses trusted third parties to perform certain functions and to provide services to your store, such as delivery companies. DDpluspet will share the customer's personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.
Business transfers. Should DDpluspet proceed with the sale or merger of its business, it may disclose the customer's information in connection with this transaction, but only to the extent permitted by law.
Compliance with the law. DDpluspet may collect, use, store and share customer information if, in good faith, it deems it reasonably necessary to:
a) respond to legal proceedings or government requests;
b) apply contracts, conditions and regulations;
c) avoiding, investigating and combating fraud, and other problems related to illegal, security or technical activities;
d) protect the rights, property and safety of my clients, or others.
3. Time of storage / storage of personal information
DDpluspet will retain the customer's personal information only for the time necessary to provide its services, as indicated in the Privacy Policy. However, DDpluspet may be required to retain such data to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce contracts. In general, it keeps data for the following period of time: 10 years for accounting and tax data; 2 years for data aimed at other.
4. Transfers of personal information outside the EU
DDpluspet may retain and process customer information through third party hosting services in the United States and other jurisdictions. As a result, you may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with data protection and governmental surveillance laws other than those in place in the customer's jurisdiction. If DDpluspet were to transfer the customer's personal information outside the EU, it would rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud has Privacy Shield certification.
5. The rights of buyers regarding the use of their personal information
If the client resides in certain territories, including the EU, he has various rights related to his personal information. While some of these rights are generally applicable, others apply only in some specific cases. Below the description of the rights:
Access. The customer has the right to access and receive a copy of his personal information in possession of DDpluspet, by contacting it using the following data.
Modification, limitation, cancellation. The customer has the right to modify his personal information, to limit the use of his personal information or to delete his personal information, except in exceptional circumstances (as in the case where DDpluspet is required to keep the data for legal purposes). However, in general, DDpluspet deletes personal information on request.
Opposition. The customer may object to the processing by DDpluspet of some of its information based on the legitimate interest of DDpluspet and the receipt of marketing messages by DDpluspet, after having given its express consent to receive them. In such cases, DDpluspet will delete your personal information, unless DDpluspet has any pre-eminent and legitimate reasons to continue using such information or where it is necessary for legal reasons.
Complaint. If the client resides in the EU and wishes to express a doubt regarding the use of his information (and without prejudice to any rights he may have), he has the right to do so with the local data protection authority.
